Marcus’s work focuses on heritage legislation, strategic planning, and conservation processes. He has led or contributed to over 325 projects as a director, manager, or senior heritage planner. His expertise has helped shape policy and guide municipalities across Canada.

Coffee with an Expert Series is organized by the ICOMOS Canada Emerging Professionals Committee and is intended primarily to allow emerging professionals to engage directly with an expert. The event will be held via Zoom and will last one hour. The structure includes the first 30 minutes for the expert's introduction and initial questions, followed by the second 30 minutes where the floor is open to questions from emerging professionals (EPs).
