The International Scientific Committees (ISCs) are international thematic working groups where specialists exchange expertise and share experience. In the Netherlands specialists have formed small Dutch working groups that meet on a regular basis. The objective of these Dutch working groups is to enhance the interaction between Dutch specialists, to generate input for the International Scientific Committee, and to inform the Dutch specialists about developments and views of the International Scientific Committee. A member of a Dutch committee is not necessarily also a member of the International Scientific Committee.
