ICOMOS Netherlands is an association with a board of directors and members. The board sets out the policy of the association and annually gives account of the financial and personnel state of affairs. Approximately 150 individual and 15 institutional members are registered members of ICOMOS Netherlands.

A council of representatives of the International Scientific Committees (ISC) is appointed to advise the board of directors. The General Assembly is ICOMOS-NL most authoritive body.
